Already know how your Keys should work together? You can start with step 2.
Plan your Primary and Backup Keys
Use the Setup Planner for a recommendation, browse common setups, or build your own.
Add and identify each physical Key
Create and print a NOPKEY ID Label, or scan or enter an official NOPKEY ID. Give the Key a recognizable name and choose whether it is a Primary, Backup, or another role.
Record accounts and services
Select only the accounts and services where you know the physical Key is registered. Recorded means you entered this information; it is not independent verification by NOPKEY.
See what needs attention
NOPKEY compares your setup with the records you maintain and shows services with no Backup Key recorded, records that may need review, and actions after loss or replacement.

The terms you will see
When a physical Key or ID Label changes
Lost Key: marking a Key as Lost shows a return-message form when someone scans its ID Label. A submitted message is shared privately with the owner and authorized NOPKEY administrators.
Recovery checklist: NOPKEY lists the services recorded for the lost Key and creates the next steps. It does not remove the lost Key from third-party accounts or prove that a Backup can sign in.
Replace ID Label: replacing the NOPKEY ID Label keeps the Security Key record and its current service records.
Open your Keys or contact NOPKEY.
Use your Security Key records for a specific task, or send us a support question without including passwords, PINs, or recovery codes.
